Matt Shepherd-Smith joins Brunswick Group as Executive Chair for MerchantCantos
MerchantCantos, a leading integrated creative communications agency and part of corporate advisory firm Brunswick Group, announced today that Matt Shepherd-Smith will join the firm as Executive Chair. Mr. Shepherd-Smith is a brand and advertising executive with experience delivering global creative campaigns for international businesses. His appointment is a significant addition to the senior management team and he will help drive continued international growth for the firm.

Matt Shepherd-Smith joins Brunswick with significant experience in brands and advertising, most recently as Global Brand and Communications Director at Blinkbox, the digital entertainment company previously owned by Tesco. Following the acquisition, Matt became Acting Brand and Communications Director at Tesco and led the supermarket’s 2014 Christmas communications campaign.
Matt began his career in agencies, spending 11 years at TBWA, where he was Managing Director and CEO. Prior to that Matt worked at Still Price Lintas Advertising, Leo Burnett Advertising and Bates Dorland.
