Now in its seventh year, the Digital Impact Awards sets the industry-wide benchmark in digital stakeholder engagement and honours the best corporate digital communications work in Europe.
MerchantCantos is thrilled to have taken gold on the night for 'Best online annual report' for our work with Old Mutual Group. Influenced by analytical evidence, the online report was designed and built as a visual storytelling platform to reach a wide, geographically-dispersed range of stakeholders. We used appropriate visual formats to articulate key messages for each area of the site, delivering a mixture of video, animation and infographics that helped bring to life the company profile, its customers, its leadership and its role in Africa.
Combined with a comprehensive amplification campaign on social media, the online report has seen a significant uplift in traffic compared with previous years, reaching audiences in the regions that matter – from the UK to Africa. The reporting content and creative assets were then used throughout Old Mutual’s digital world to bring consistent messaging and look and feel to their communications.
