As one of the world’s largest resources companies, Glencore is under constant scrutiny from its stakeholders. Although the company had steadily improved its sustainability credentials, its report didn’t do it justice.
Rather than change the overall structure that audiences were familiar with and that contained all the necessary disclosures, we tightened up the way each part worked. An overview of each section was introduced, together with pull-out stats and performance highlights for high-level readers. This
strong framework was implemented in a landscape format, alongside clear navigation and linkages for a compelling result.
The Glencore sustainability team has been receiving positive feedback ever since the report was published and promoted on their social media channels. It is viewed as Glencore’s best and most transparent report yet. It is a much stronger platform for the company’s ongoing engagement
